On Saturday May 4th a vigil was held for the victims of the attacks in New Zealand, Sri Lanka and United States at Oldham Civic Centre on Rochdale Road from 12.30 - 1.15pm.
Political leaders from all the 3 parties on Oldham Council and faith leaders from across the different faiths spoke movingly for the victims and their loved ones. They further said they will redouble their efforts to challenge those who seek to divide our communities and saw discord.
