Standing together against Trump's Travel Ban

At Oldham Parish Church 1.30pm members of Oldham Interfaith Forum, Oldham Mosques' Council and other local groups met with Debbie Abrahams, the MP for Oldham East and Saddleworth, Jean Stretton, leader of Oldham Council and other Civic leaders to show solidarity against Donald Trump’s travel ban imposed on seven, mainly Muslim, countries.

150 people joined us to stand united against division.

How People of Faith Help the Needy - a Discussion

Expert speakers from different religious perspectives will be speaking on the subject of how people of faith help the needy.

Topics will include

  • Scriptural references
  • How it works on the ground (Locally, Nationally and Internationally)
  • What benefits are gained?

There will be opportunities at have an input and ask questions.
