Oldham Interfaith Forum and Oldham Mosques Council express their deepest condolences for the passing away of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family at this very difficult time. She led a remarkable life. It is a sad day for all of us.
We remember her for her dedication to public service and the welfare of people in Britain, the Commonwealth and across the world.
As the head of the Church of England, she encouraged inter-denominational work among people of different faiths with the utmost respect for all of them, including Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists as well as Christians and those of no faith - all who made United Kingdom their home. She was a beacon of hope, integrity, stability and unity for our nation and beyond.
RIP Queen Elizabeth II
Long Live King Charles III
