Oldham Mosques Stand Together with London

Oldham Mosques Council organised an meeting on Friday the 24th to stand together with Londoners in light of the attack on Westminster.
More than fifty representatives of the community gathered at EIC Werneth House to show solidarity and send out a loud and strong message “Not in Our Name” on behalf of Oldham's Muslim Community.

We had an excellent and larger than anticipated audience for the latest multi-faith Any Questions session held at Oldham College, So many students came that we had to move from the room originally allocated to the college's main lecture hall. The panel was Multi Helal, Father, Phil Sumner, Judith Hayman and Jit Kara.

SAG Report Launched in Glodwick

On Sat 4th March the Saving a Generation Conference report was launched outlining the actions taken so far by partners.
All the partners supported and endorsed the report based on conclusions reached following the Saving a Generation Conference held in Oldham last year.

Standing together against Trump's Travel Ban

At Oldham Parish Church 1.30pm members of Oldham Interfaith Forum, Oldham Mosques' Council and other local groups met with Debbie Abrahams, the MP for Oldham East and Saddleworth, Jean Stretton, leader of Oldham Council and other Civic leaders to show solidarity against Donald Trump’s travel ban imposed on seven, mainly Muslim, countries.

150 people joined us to stand united against division.
